I’m Ibukun (e-boo-koon), a twenty year old university student navigating my way through life with the company of books. I’ve loved reading for as long as I can remember, and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon. Books, for me, are the best form of escapism, and you’ll hardly ever catch me without one nearby. I also love writing and travelling, but since life sometimes gets in the way of me travelling as much as I’d love to, I use the books I read as windows to the world (both real and fantasy).

I’m open to all genres of fiction (although I’m a mood reader, so sometimes I feel like I have no say in what I read 😊). This year, I’m into Fantasy, Contemporary, Romance, New Adult, and Young Adult fiction.

When I’m not reading or sleeping doing school work, you’ll more than likely find me improving my Mandarin skills. Lately, I’ve been doing this by binge watching my way through the Chinese-speaking part of Netflix and Viki.

Here at A Bookworm and a Half, you’ll find me sharing my love for books. I’ll be doing this through book reviews, recommendations, and bookish ramblings. I may veer off topic once in a while, but ultimately, books trump all!
