A LITTLE HISTORY

A Bookworm and a Half is not my first try at blogging, but I’m hoping it’ll be my last. Before this, I had a blog, which I started during my gap year in 2015. I was so used to having so much free time that when I started school a year after that, I found that I couldn’t keep up with school work and blogging. Inconsistent blogging aside, I found that at a point, about ninety percent of the books I featured on the blog were ARCs, and the fun of discovering new books and reading them at my own pace was no longer there. Even though I enjoyed giving indie and upcoming books a chance to shine, I didn’t want writing reviews to become a chore. So, I decided to start over and do things right.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I’ll be posting book-related content, including reviews, book recommendations, and discussion posts. I’ll start with one post every week, and then work my way up as the blog progresses. I’m not picky about genres, and what I read largely depends on my mood. However, you’ll more than likely find a mix of Fantasy/Paranormal, Romance, Contemporary, Young Adult, and New Adult Fiction. I will also be looking for and reading books written by minority authors and books with diverse characters.

I will not be accepting review requests for the time being. This means that most of the books featured on A Bookworm and a Half will be bought by me. Any ARC review you may find would have been requested by me. If things change, you will be the first to know!
